Robert Buchinger rewards JEC Innovation Award 2018 for composite construction

The JEC Innovation Awards pay tribute to innovation in the field of composite materials. The ceremony took place on March 7, 2018 at JEC World 2018, Paris Nord Villepinte.

JEC World, which is organized by JEC Group, is the largest international trade show for advanced materials: This year, more than 43,000 professional visitors from over 100 countries gathered in Paris at the innovative platform.

Composite materials are revolutionizing our century. The share of composites in the global economy is growing due to new automated processes for high-volume production. According to 2017 statistics, the market for these products is worth 83 billion euros for a volume of 11.23 million metric tons of volume and analysts are predicting a steady 5% growth by 2021.
